Continuity Program Policy
The complete rules, rights, and responsibilities governing the Continuity Program and all participants.
This Continuity Program Policy ("Policy") is a legally binding agreement between you ("Author," "Affiliate," "Reviewer," or "User", as applicable) and Plethoryt, a brand operated under ChordexBio and its parent organization and associated companies (collectively, "Plethoryt," "we," "us," or "the Program"). By registering, submitting, reviewing, or otherwise participating in the Continuity Program ("Program"), you unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by this Policy in its entirety, together with only those provisions of Plethoryt's Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Fair Use Policy, and Payment and Refund Policy that are expressly identified in this Policy or are strictly necessary to give effect to it, and only to the extent such provisions are directly relevant to participation in the Program. If you do not agree, you must not participate in the Program.
Plethoryt reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Amendments take effect upon posting to the platform. Continued use of the Program following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. It is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically.

- Author: Any individual aged 18 or older who submits a Research Manuscript to the Program.
- Research Manuscript / Manuscript: Any academic work — including research articles, review papers, theses, dissertations, case studies, and conference papers — submitted by an Author for archiving and/or monetization through the Program.
- Continuity Program / Program: The centralized, worldwide platform operated by Plethoryt for archiving, accessing, reviewing, and monetizing academic research.
- Plethoryt / Platform / we: Plethoryt, a brand operated under ChordexBio and its parent organization, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies.
- Repository: Any platform, system, database, or infrastructure owned, operated, licensed, or hosted by Plethoryt, ChordexBio, or their parent organization and subsidiaries, on which Manuscripts are archived.
- Access Plan: The plan selected by an Author at submission, governing the terms under which the Manuscript is made available and monetized. See Section 6.
- Royalty: The Author's share of revenue generated from access purchases of their Manuscript under the Royalty, Subscription, or Lifetime Plan.
- Affiliate: Any individual or entity registered to promote the Program and earn commissions on referred transactions.
- Reviewer: Any individual registered to evaluate submitted Manuscripts and provide recommendations to the Program's editorial team.
- Authorized Representative: A Plethoryt employee or agent with written authority to confirm submissions and communicate binding decisions on behalf of Plethoryt.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Program is open to all researchers, scholars, educators, and students aged 18 years and older, worldwide, who hold the necessary rights to their Manuscripts.
2.2 By submitting, the Author represents and warrants that they are of legal age in their jurisdiction, have full capacity to enter into legally binding agreements, and that no applicable law, regulation, or institutional policy prohibits their participation.
2.3 Participation is subject to Plethoryt's sole discretion. Plethoryt reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate participation by any individual or entity, for any reason, at any time, without obligation to provide a reason.
3. Submission Process
3.1 Authors must submit Manuscripts exclusively through the Program's official submission portal at https://continuity.plethoryt.com/submit.php or through a secure and private channel communicated by an Authorized Representative from time to time. Submissions made through any other channel are invalid and will not be processed.
3.2 A submission is only considered valid and binding upon written or email confirmation by an Authorized Representative of Plethoryt. No submission shall confer any rights on the Author until such confirmation is issued.
3.3 All submissions must include complete and accurate metadata, including but not limited to: full title, structured abstract, keywords, subject area, manuscript type, author information, and institutional affiliation. Authors undertake to provide truthful, accurate, and current information at all times.
3.4 Authors must select an Access Plan at the time of submission. The selection of a plan constitutes the Author's binding agreement to the terms applicable to that plan as set out in Section 6.
3.5 Submission through the Program's portal does not constitute acceptance. Plethoryt makes no guarantee of acceptance, response time, or approval of any Manuscript.
3.6 Submitting a Manuscript on behalf of another person, without that person's explicit written consent, is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of this Policy.
4. Quality Review and Acceptance
4.1 Every Manuscript submitted to the Program undergoes an internal Quality Review conducted by the Program's editorial and reviewer team. The Quality Review evaluates the Manuscript against the criteria below. The Program reserves the sole and absolute right to accept, reject, or return for revision any Manuscript, for any reason.
4.2 Acceptance Criteria. Manuscripts are evaluated against all of the following:
- Authorship Validity: The Author must hold full rights to submit the Manuscript. Co-authored works require the written consent of all co-authors. The Author assumes full legal responsibility for securing all necessary permissions.
- Academic Rigor: The Manuscript must demonstrate clear research objectives, sound methodology, robust data analysis, and a meaningful contribution to its field.
- Originality and Contribution: Manuscripts must present original findings or interpretations that advance knowledge. Plagiarism in any form is grounds for immediate rejection and account termination.
- Ethical Compliance: Research involving human subjects must comply with applicable ethics board requirements. Authors must disclose all conflicts of interest and funding sources.
- Clarity and Coherence: Manuscripts must be well-structured, clearly written, and organized to facilitate comprehension and engagement.
- Relevance and Impact: Research must address current or emerging issues with demonstrated relevance to academic discourse, practical application, or policy.
- Formatting: Manuscripts must meet the formatting standards set out in the Submission Guidelines at guidelines page.
- Freedom from Legal Encumbrance: Manuscripts must not be subject to active legal proceedings, patent applications, or disputes that could compromise the Program's ability to archive or distribute the work.
4.3 Editorial Revision. During Quality Review, Plethoryt's editors and reviewers may make minimal refinements to the Manuscript — including grammatical corrections and formatting standardisation — without materially altering the Author's original meaning. Authors consent to such refinements as a condition of submission. The Author retains ownership of the Manuscript as described in Section 12.
4.4 Reviewer recommendations are advisory only. Final decisions on acceptance, rejection, revision requirements, and availability status rest exclusively with Plethoryt's administrative team. The Program's decision on all such matters is final and binding.
4.5 Desk rejection — rejection without full review — may occur at the Program's discretion where a Manuscript does not meet minimum eligibility or scope requirements.
5. Archiving and Repository Access
5.1 Upon acceptance and, where applicable, satisfaction of applicable plan fees, the Manuscript will be archived in the Program's Repositories. Repositories include any platform, database, or infrastructure owned, operated, licensed, or hosted by Plethoryt, ChordexBio, or their parent organization and subsidiaries, including but not limited to the Continuity Program platform, partner platforms such as Manuskrito, and any future platforms under the same ownership or operational control. This includes cross-sharing and cross-indexing of archived Manuscripts across any such platforms for the purposes of accessibility, visibility, and knowledge distribution.
5.2 The duration of archiving is determined by the Author's selected Access Plan. Archiving may be extended, renewed, or terminated in accordance with the applicable plan terms.
5.3 Once a Manuscript has been archived, all management of digital storage, access control, and distribution is exclusively under Plethoryt's responsibility. Authors agree not to interfere with any archiving or distribution process. Inquiries regarding digital archiving may be directed to inquiry@plethoryt.com.
5.4 Plethoryt will handle all archived Manuscripts in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Authors acknowledge and agree to the Privacy Policy before submission.
5.5 Plethoryt may, at its sole discretion and without notice, change, limit, restrict, or suspend access to any Manuscript for technical, legal, compliance, or administrative reasons.
6. Access Plans and Fees
6.1 Authors must select one of the following Access Plans at submission. Each plan governs the terms of archiving, access, and monetization of the Manuscript.
Open Access Plan
Authors pay a one-time Open Access fee, making the Manuscript freely accessible by any visitor to the platform worldwide without restriction. This plan supports the open-access movement and maximises the societal impact and reach of the research. Authors under this plan waive the ability to earn per-access royalties. Where applicable, Open Access submission or approval fees are waived during promotional or introductory periods designated by Plethoryt. Any applicable fees will be disclosed prior to submission and acceptance of the Manuscript.
Royalty Plan
Authors participate with no upfront submission fee. Upon acceptance, the Author decides the monetization route for the Manuscript before earning royalties. Authors may choose a Subscription Plan that allows the Manuscript to remain active for a period of up to twelve (12) months, requiring annual renewal, or choose a Lifetime Plan that allows Authors to earn royalties during the entirety of the Program operation with no annual renewal. Regardless of the plan, the Author earns 70% of each verified access purchase while the Manuscript is active. A minimal processing fee applies after acceptance — the applicable fee is communicated in writing by an Authorized Representative. The Author's acceptance of the approval confirmation constitutes acceptance of the applicable fee.
Subscription Plan
Authors make an annual payment to continue archiving and monetizing their Manuscript on the platform. The Subscription Plan renews annually and provides continued access, visibility, and monetization capability. Annual renewal fees are communicated to Authors in advance. Failure to renew within 30 days of the renewal date may result in the Manuscript being placed in a hidden or suspended state pending renewal and inactive for monetization.
Lifetime Plan
Authors make a single, one-time payment, granting indefinite archiving and monetization of their Manuscript for as long as the Program operates. This plan requires no further financial commitment from the Author. In the event the Program discontinues operations, Plethoryt will endeavour to provide at least 90 days' notice to Lifetime Plan Authors and will make reasonable efforts to facilitate data retrieval.
6.2 Fee Validity. Fees quoted by an Authorized Representative are valid for the period specified in the quote. Expired quotes are void and a new quote must be obtained. No fee obligation arises until the Author has received a written fee confirmation and proceeds with acceptance.
6.3 Terms of Payment. Payment terms, methods, and refund conditions are governed by Plethoryt's Payment and Refund Policy. Once payment has been made and the Manuscript has entered Quality Evaluation, cancellation of the submission is not permitted, except as provided under Section 8.
6.4 Fee Changes. Plethoryt reserves the right to modify fee schedules at any time. Changes take effect for new submissions and renewals only and do not retroactively affect fees already confirmed in writing for a current plan period.
6.5 Plan Changes. Authors may change the access or monetization plan of a Manuscript at any time. Plan changes are not eligible for full or partial refunds under any circumstances. Where a Manuscript is upgraded or converted to a different plan (including but not limited to Open Access to Royalty or Subscription to Lifetime), the Author must pay the full applicable price of the new plan, and the change will only take effect upon successful payment confirmation. Any remaining value, time, or benefits from the previous plan are forfeited and do not carry over. Changes apply on a per-Manuscript basis and do not affect other Manuscripts associated with the Author.
7. Royalties and Earnings
7.1 Authors on the Royalty Plan, Subscription Plan, or Lifetime Plan who have set an access price for their Manuscript earn 70% of each net verified purchase of their Manuscript. The remaining 30% is retained by Plethoryt to cover platform operations, review processes, infrastructure, and administration.
7.2 Royalties are calculated on the net purchase amount, after deduction of applicable payment processor fees, chargebacks, refunds, and taxes where required by law.
7.3 Royalties are disbursed on a monthly cycle, subject to a minimum payout threshold communicated via the Author's dashboard. Plethoryt is not liable for delays in disbursement caused by payment processor failures, third-party service interruptions, incorrect payment information provided by the Author, or force majeure events.
7.4 In the event of a purchase reversal, chargeback, or refund, the corresponding royalty amount will be deducted from the Author's pending or future balance. If the Author's balance is insufficient, Plethoryt reserves the right to recover the deficit from future royalty earnings.
7.5 Authors are solely responsible for all tax obligations arising from royalty earnings. Plethoryt does not withhold, remit, or advise on tax matters. Authors must comply with all applicable tax laws in their jurisdiction.
7.6 Access prices for Royalty, Subscription, and Lifetime Plan Manuscripts are set by the Author, subject to any minimum or maximum pricing guidelines communicated by Plethoryt. Plethoryt reserves the right to set, adjust, or enforce pricing guidelines at any time.
7.7 The Program's maximum benchmark royalty per single access purchase is subject to annual review and is communicated through the platform. Actual earnings depend on the price set by the Author and prevailing currency exchange rates at the time of payout.
8. Withdrawal and Updates
8.1 Authors may request withdrawal of their Manuscript from the Program at any time by submitting a request through the platform dashboard or by written notice to Plethoryt's official email address.
8.2 The following conditions apply to withdrawals:
- Where no payment has been made or initiated, the Author may withdraw at no cost and with no financial obligation.
- Where a fee has been paid under the Open Access or Royalty Plan (Subscription or Lifetime), withdrawal within 30 days of payment may qualify for a refund of less than 75% of the fee paid, subject to investigation by Plethoryt into work already performed. Withdrawal after 30 days of payment is not eligible for any refund.
- Where unpaid royalties accrued up to the date of withdrawal will be disbursed in the next scheduled payout cycle, provided the Author's balance meets the minimum threshold.
8.3 Removal of digital files from the Repository following a confirmed withdrawal will be completed within a minimum of 15 business days. The Author will be notified upon completion through their registered contact details. Plethoryt is not liable for any downstream consequences arising from data retained in backups or cached systems during this period.
8.4 Once a Manuscript has been archived and made available on the platform, the Author may not alter, modify, or replace the manuscript file without Plethoryt's written consent. Authors may submit correction requests or errata for consideration by the editorial team. Plethoryt has sole discretion to approve, reject, or implement any requested corrections.
8.5 Withdrawal does not affect Plethoryt's rights with respect to data already processed, distributed, or indexed prior to the effective date of withdrawal.
8.6 Withdrawn Manuscripts may only be resubmitted after a minimum period of six (6) months from the date of withdrawal.
8.7 Authors are encouraged to request a change in access type in accordance with Section 6.5, rather than withdrawing and resubmitting Manuscripts to alter access or monetization terms.
8.8 At any point between submission to acceptance, Authors may request their Manuscripts to be placed under an embargo for a maximum period of twelve (12) months, during which they remain inactive. Upon expiry of a Subscription Plan during or after embargo, renewal or plan selection is required for monetization. Embargoed or hidden Manuscripts do not generate royalties and are not accessible during inactivity; access and monetization resume only upon embargo lifting or activation of an eligible plan.
9. Author Representations, Warranties, and Indemnification
9.1 By submitting a Manuscript, the Author unconditionally represents, warrants, and undertakes that:
- The Manuscript is the Author's original work and does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
- The Author is the sole or duly authorised submitting party and holds all rights necessary to grant the licences set out in this Policy.
- The Manuscript does not contain false, defamatory, misleading, unlawful, or harmful content.
- The Manuscript is not subject to any active legal proceedings, patent applications, confidentiality agreements, or institutional restrictions that would prevent or restrict its archiving or distribution.
- All data, findings, citations, and attributions in the Manuscript are accurate and honestly presented.
- The submission does not violate any applicable law or regulation in the Author's jurisdiction or any other relevant jurisdiction.
- Where human subjects research is involved, all required ethical approvals have been obtained and are held by the Author.
- All co-authors have been informed of and have consented to the submission.
9.2 Indemnification. The Author agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plethoryt, ChordexBio, their parent organization, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and successors (collectively, the "Plethoryt Parties") from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) any breach of this Policy by the Author; (b) any content submitted by the Author; (c) any infringement by the Author of any third party's rights; (d) any claim by a co-author, institution, or third party relating to the Manuscript; or (e) the Author's use of or participation in the Program.
9.3 Author's Sole Responsibility. The Author assumes all risks associated with their Manuscript, including risks as to its accuracy, originality, legal compliance, and any personal information disclosed within it. Plethoryt bears no responsibility for verifying the accuracy, completeness, or lawfulness of any submitted content.
10. Reviewer Policy
10.1 Reviewers are volunteers or appointed experts who evaluate submitted Manuscripts and provide recommendations to the Program's editorial team. Registration as a Reviewer does not create an employment, contractor, or agency relationship between the Reviewer and Plethoryt.
10.2 Reviewer Conduct. Reviewers must:
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all Manuscripts assigned for review. Reviewers must not disclose, share, copy, or reproduce any portion of an assigned Manuscript without Plethoryt's written consent.
- Declare any conflict of interest with an assigned Manuscript before commencing review and request reassignment if a conflict exists.
- Provide honest, objective, and constructive feedback grounded in academic standards, free from personal bias.
- Complete assigned reviews within the communicated timeline. Failure to notify Plethoryt of an inability to complete a review within the deadline may result in removal of the Reviewer's access.
- Not use any Manuscript or information therein for personal research, publication, or any purpose other than completing the assigned review.
10.3 Reviewer Recommendations are Advisory Only. All final decisions on acceptance, rejection, revision, and availability status are made exclusively by Plethoryt's administrative team. Reviewer recommendations do not bind Plethoryt.
10.4 Reviewer Commissions. Reviewers may earn commissions on specific milestones and performance benchmarks as communicated by Plethoryt. Commission structures are set at Plethoryt's sole discretion and may be amended at any time with 30 days' notice. Commissions are not guaranteed and may be forfeited for violation of this Policy.
10.5 Reviewer Liability. Reviewers are solely responsible for the quality and accuracy of their review submissions. Plethoryt is not liable for any decisions taken in reliance on a Reviewer's recommendation. Reviewers agree to indemnify the Plethoryt Parties from any claim arising from a grossly negligent, malicious, or fraudulent review.
10.6 Plethoryt reserves the right to terminate a Reviewer's access at any time, for any reason, without liability.
11. Affiliate Policy
11.1 Affiliates promote the Program through their unique referral code and earn commissions on qualifying transactions attributed to that code.
11.2 Qualifying Events. Commissions are earned when: (a) an Author submits a Royalty Plan, Subscription Plan, or Lifetime Plan Manuscript using the Affiliate's referral code, and a qualifying fee is paid; and (b) a reader purchases access to a Manuscript submitted with the Affiliate's referral code.
11.3 Commission Rates. Commission rates are set by Plethoryt at its sole discretion and communicated to Affiliates through their dashboard. Rates may be amended at any time with 30 days' written notice to active Affiliates. Amended rates apply to transactions occurring after the effective date of the amendment.
11.4 Affiliate Conduct. Affiliates must not:
- Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading promotional activity.
- Misrepresent the Program, its fees, its terms, or its benefits to potential Authors or readers.
- Use spam, unsolicited messaging, automated bots, or any prohibited marketing technique.
- Create fictitious accounts or transactions to artificially generate commissions.
- Offer inducements, cash-backs, or side arrangements to Authors or readers in connection with referrals.
11.5 Commission Forfeiture. Commissions are void and will be forfeited in the event of: (a) purchase reversal, chargeback, or refund; (b) manuscript rejection; (c) any violation of this Policy by the Affiliate; or (d) fraudulent activity in any form. Plethoryt may recover previously paid commissions found to have been earned through fraud or policy violation.
11.6 Affiliate Payouts. Commissions are disbursed monthly, subject to a minimum payout threshold. Affiliates are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from commission earnings. Plethoryt reserves the right to suspend payouts pending investigation of suspected fraud or policy breach.
11.7 Commission Coverage. Commissions apply only to eligible customer transactions that remain active and are not refunded, canceled, or disputed within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase (the “maturation period”). Transactions that are subject to partial or full refunds within this period will not qualify for commission. Only transactions that successfully complete the maturation period without adjustment will be deemed eligible for commission purposes.
11.8 Plethoryt may suspend or terminate any Affiliate account at any time, for any reason, without liability. Unpaid commissions accrued prior to termination for cause may be forfeited.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 Author Ownership. As between the Author and Plethoryt, the Author retains all ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights in and to their Manuscript, subject to the licences granted in this Section.
12.2 Licence Grant to Plethoryt. By submitting a Manuscript, the Author grants Plethoryt a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, host, store, copy, display, distribute, index, archive, translate, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit the Manuscript and its metadata — solely to the extent necessary to operate the Program, the Repository, affiliated platforms, and Plethoryt's products and services. This licence includes use for service improvements, research, technology development, new product development, accessibility enhancements, and cross-platform distribution within Plethoryt's ecosystem. Plethoryt will not use the Author's personally identifiable data for unrelated commercial purposes without the Author's consent.
12.3 Open Access Reader Licence. For Manuscripts on the Open Access Plan, the Author additionally grants readers a non-exclusive, non-commercial, attribution-required licence to read, cite, and share the Manuscript in accordance with Plethoryt's Fair Use Policy. Re-hosting, republication, or sale of Open Access Manuscripts by any third party is prohibited without the Author's explicit written consent.
12.4 Plethoryt's Intellectual Property. All trademarks, trade names, logos, platform design, software, databases, algorithms, and other intellectual property of Plethoryt, ChordexBio, and their parent organization and subsidiaries are the exclusive property of the respective owner. No participation in the Program grants any right, title, or interest in Plethoryt's intellectual property.
12.5 No Competing Use. Authors, Reviewers, and Affiliates may not use any information, data, or content obtained through the Program to develop, operate, or contribute to any competing platform or service without Plethoryt's prior written consent.
13. Privacy and Data Use
13.1 The collection, processing, storage, and use of personal data in connection with the Program is governed by Plethoryt's Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
13.2 By participating in the Program, all Users consent to the collection and processing of their personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, including transfer of data to jurisdictions outside the User's country of residence where Plethoryt or its subsidiaries operate.
13.3 Author names, institutional affiliations, and Manuscript metadata may be displayed publicly on the platform and across affiliated Repositories. Authors who require anonymity must request a specific arrangement from Plethoryt prior to submission.
13.4 Plethoryt may use aggregated, anonymised data derived from platform usage, submission patterns, and access statistics for research, reporting, and product development purposes without restriction.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Plethoryt Parties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the Program, including but not limited to: loss of revenue, loss of royalties, loss of data, loss of reputation, loss of opportunity, system downtime, or unauthorized access to data, even if Plethoryt has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
14.2 Plethoryt's total aggregate liability to any Author, Reviewer, or Affiliate, for any claim arising from or in connection with the Program, shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by that party to Plethoryt in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
14.3 Plethoryt does not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of viruses or harmful components. The Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14.4 Plethoryt is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any Manuscript submitted to or made available through the Program. All responsibility for submitted content rests solely with the Author.
14.5 Plethoryt is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Policy where such failure results from any cause beyond Plethoryt's reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, government actions, natural disasters, pandemic, network failure, or third-party service failure.
15. Termination and Suspension
15.1 Plethoryt reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any Author, Reviewer, or Affiliate account, and to remove or restrict access to any Manuscript, at any time and without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: breach of this Policy, fraudulent activity, legal or regulatory requirements, or conduct detrimental to the Program or the academic community.
15.2 Upon termination for cause: (a) the Author forfeits any accrued but unpaid royalties from the period of breach; (b) Affiliates forfeit any accrued but unpaid commissions; (c) Plethoryt retains the right to remove the Manuscript and all associated data from the platform without refund.
15.3 Plethoryt's rights under Sections 9, 12, and 14 survive any termination of this Policy or of a participant's account.
15.4 Where Plethoryt discontinues the Program in its entirety, Authors will be given at least 90 days' notice and Plethoryt will make reasonable efforts to facilitate data retrieval. Plethoryt shall not be liable for any losses arising from program discontinuation beyond this obligation.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
16.1 This Policy and all matters arising from or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Plethoryt is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
16.2 Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Policy, or the breach, termination, or validity thereof, shall first be submitted to Plethoryt's internal dispute resolution process by written notice to inquiry@plethoryt.com. Plethoryt will endeavour to respond within 30 business days.
16.3 If a dispute is not resolved through internal processes within 60 days of written notice, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available or enforceable, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Plethoryt's registered jurisdiction.
16.4 Notwithstanding the foregoing, Plethoryt reserves the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
17. Currency and Conversion Policy
17.1 Disbursements. All payments released to Authors, Affiliates, and Reviewers shall be calculated based on the applicable USD amount and converted to the recipient’s local currency using the prevailing or officially published exchange rate at the time of disbursement. The reference exchange rate used for each disbursement period shall be made available or communicated to the recipient for transparency.
17.2 Fees and Charges. Any fees payable by Authors, Affiliates, or Reviewers may be issued in USD and/or in the recipient’s local currency at the time of invoicing. Where local currency is used, the amount shall be based on the applicable exchange rate at the time the invoice is generated.
17.3 Exchange Rate Variability. Recipients acknowledge that exchange rates are subject to fluctuation and may result in differences between expected and actual received or payable amounts. The platform shall not be held liable for variances arising from currency conversion.
17.4 Applicability. All issued invoices and payable amounts—whether denominated in USD or local currency—shall be governed by the platform’s established Terms of Payment.
18. General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement. This Policy, together with the incorporated policies referenced herein, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the Program and supersedes all prior representations, negotiations, or agreements.
18.2 Severability. If any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
18.3 No Waiver. Plethoryt's failure to enforce any provision of this Policy shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision in the future.
18.4 Assignment. Participants may not assign their rights or obligations under this Policy without Plethoryt's prior written consent. Plethoryt may assign its rights and obligations under this Policy, in whole or in part, to any affiliate, subsidiary, or successor entity without consent.
18.5 Notices. All formal notices to Plethoryt under this Policy must be sent in writing to Plethoryt's official communication channels as listed on plethoryt.com. Notices are effective upon acknowledgement of receipt by an Authorized Representative.
18.6 Language. This Policy is written in English. In the event of a conflict between an English version and any translated version, the English version prevails.
